Our financial planning process
We have a simple, robust financial planning process that always begins with a big conversation with you about your life and loved ones.
1.
Discovery Session
This is a 45 minute online ‘Get to know us’ appointment where we will answer any immediate questions you may have. We will talk about how we can help you, agree on next steps, and any associated fees.
2.
First Appointment
By the end of this appointment, we will have a plan in place to find the right solution for your needs. If we are reviewing any plans that you already have (pensions/investments), we will ag ree an invoiceable fee for us to review and provide a report in relation to those. If we are discussing new plans, we will discuss the % fees that may be applied.
3.
Next Steps
If there is an agreed invoiceable fee, we will send this to you for payment within 7 days. We will then conduct any research that is needed. This can take several weeks depending on the work we are undertaking for you, but rest assured we will keep you updated each step of the way. Once we have done the work needed by us, we will send you a report, and book you in for further discussion.
4.
Second Appointment
In this appointment we will discuss our report and recommendation. We will answer any questions you have and agree how you would like to proceed.
5.
Next Steps
Based on how we have agreed we will proceed, we will undertake any further paperwork, or related compliance work back in our offices, and we will explain how long this part of the process is likely to take dependent on the type of work we are doing for you.
6.
Sign Up Appointment
We will meet again to go through your personalised solution and complete any associated sign-up paperwork.
7.
Final Steps
We set up the agreed products, the agreed fees are deducted from product on set up/transfer or invoiced if that has been your preference. We will also book you in for a review where agreed.
